The conference EcoVeg 9 will take place from April 3th to 5th, in Tours (France).
The seminars are organized annually since 2005. The aim is to share, discuss and compare the latest results in ecology research of plant communities. It is a moment of exchange and communication for students, young scientists and researchers.
The topics are related to the theoretical foundations of the ecology of plant communities and the environmental issues associated with: biodiversity, global change, disturbance ecology, functioning communities along environmental gradients, management, conservation and restoration of ecosystems; history and evolution biotic interactions, biological invasions, assembly rules of species … 
Safaa Wasof, PhD Student, will present his work on the « comparison of the climatic niche of some vascular plants from the Alps and Scandinavia, »  on Friday, April 5th.
