For the period to come (2012-2015), the members of this axis have decided to redirect the focus around the thematics of contemporary recompositions in public action. Such prospect has become obvious in view of the break-ups and transformations experienced by public intervention for several years and which should impact the political, institutional, legal and administrative scene in the coming decade. Several major programmes launched by the recent governments will be tackled in particular: in-depth reform of State action (via the General review of public policies launched in 2007) for reducing its scope by merging and redeploying its structures, staff members and means; increasing introduction of logics, tools and managerial operating modes or derived from the private world in the public sphere; far-reaching structural reform of territorial structures. In connection with this inflection of the global problematics of the axis, restructuring of the teams has been contemplated for meeting several objectives: abandonment of the sectorial character of the prior sub-axes (” environment”, ” assessment “, ” territorial policies “) to the benefit of reshuffling around more transversal research objects; creation of homogeneous and balanced sub-axes in terms of team(s) and research activities; association of other CURAPP members working on the public action (school, social, family, health policies) allowing for transversal inter-axis collaborations. Articulated around the thematics of the contemporary recompositions of public action, the researches of the axis 1 will be combined for the 2012-2015 period around two problematics for contemplating collaborations between teams and a scientific supervision within each sub-axis.
